Anastascia Athena "Stasci" Spiros-Daniels (born July 14th, 1989) is an actress with dual American and Greek citizenship. She began her career portraying Claire Bennet on the NBC sci-fi series Heroes (2006 to 2010). Her first major film role was playing Sam in the romantic drama Like Crazy (2011). That year she also had a supporting role in the trasher film Scream 4. She went on to star in a variety of films including The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015) and The Girl on the Train (2016).

EARLY LIFE

Stasci Spiros was born on July 14th, 1989 in Athens, Greece. Born to a Greek father and American mother, Spiros moved to the United States at the age of four. Her father, Taavi Spiros was a business owner and her mother Mimi Daniels was a stay at home mother. She is of Greek and English ancestry and was raised Greek Orthodox. Her father died in late 1999, when Spiros was ten years old. Due to her father's Greek heritage, Spiros is fluent in both Greek and English. Following her father's death until age 15 Spiros was involved in over 30 beauty pageants. At the age of 16 she began her modelling and acting career in place of college. By age 17 she had been cast in multiple ad campaigns and commercials before landing her first major acting role. Despite her mother's heavy involvement in her earlier career, Spiros has been quoted as saying that the relationship between her and her mother is non-existent. Rumors have suggested the two haven't spoken in over 6 years (though not confirmed by either party).

CAREER

Spiros's career began in 2006, when she starred as Claire Bennett on the NBC sci-fi drama Heroes. The ten years prior Spiros worked as a model (both in print and commercial) as well as starring in various commercials. She was also involved in the beauty pageant circuit. In 2011 she made the move to film. In that year she had a role in the fourth installment of the Scream franchise, Scream 4. She also starred in the drama Like Crazy. It was in 2013 that her career really started to take off. She starred as Miss San Antonio in the sci-fi action film Machete Kills. That same year she starred as Naomi in the film The Wolf of Wall Street". She's quoted as saying that "As a child, I was never interested in acting. My mother encouraged me to pursue creative avenues after the death of my father. I used it as therapy. It's always been something that's brought me joy."

PERSONAL LIFE

Spiros's is known for not only her professionalism on set, but also by her friendly demeanor. Many of her co-stars have had nothing but positive things to say about her. Spiros described what goes through her mind while preparing for a role: "I try to do my best to treat the character as a real person. Someone with feelings, with fears, with doubts, with a story to tell. Our jobs as actors is to make the movie experience as real as possible. I put 1000% of myself into any role." Spiros has been linked romantically to numerous actors, including Jackson Overstreet. Though Spiros and Overstreet have maintained that they are only friends, rumors have circled the industry for many years regarding their relationship. Spiros has also been linked to rocker Ezra Marlowe. Though many assume they are only friends, they have been spotted out together over the past two years. As of 2017 Spiros has lived in Malibu, California.
